About Lynne Staham

I have always had a love, respect and empathy for animals and nature.  Horses have always  been a passion in my life.  Many of the horses that I came across had behavioural problems and I felt I had to help them, so my healing path started there. Animals are naturally intuitive and respond to the varying energies and emotions we project, both positive and negative. I believe it is our responsibility to provide as natural an environment as possible for animals in our care.  They are living in a human world and we expect a lot from them. If there is a behavioural issue, there is always a reason for it.  Therefore it is important to look at situations from the animal’s perspective to understand their behaviour.   I approach my work with horses holistically and use natural remedies for minor injuries complementary to veterinary medicine and involving the physiotherapist and osteopath if required.

I practice natural horsemanship, working on the ground to improve suppleness which encourages balanced movement.  The ground work also strengthens the equine/human partnership which is then translated into ridden work. When I am asked to give healing to a horse, I often give healing to the owner as they have a partnership and their energies are closely connected. I am a Healer Member of The Healing Trust.  I live in Uckfield, East Sussex and also practice in West Sussex and Kent.
